Our stay in October 2008 was great:-)
After landing at the airport in Palma we welcomed the sun!
Taxi drove us to Santa Ponsa where we stopped in Apartamentos Verdemar-it is like 25 km-30 km from the airport and we paid euros 40 .
Could be cheaper:)
But Apartamentos Verdemar proved to be a good choice-very nice, clean and lady at the front desk friendly and reliable.
Our apartment had own kitchen, bathroom and room with balcony.
For us it was good because we could cook ourselves-so if u want to come with a small baby it is perfect place:)

Of course, you can book a room with full board-everything it`s up to you.
On the ground floor was a swimming pool - sun bed only euros 3.50!And do not worry if you do not have a beach towels - in the reception desk you pay euros 20 deposit and you get the towels!Amazing but not all hotels have this service- and I think it is very good!!
Santa Ponsa is very beautiful ,wonderful place-not too big not too small:)You can find there traditional Spanish restaurants and bars and also Restaurant McDonald`s!It is not a joke:)

My favourite is Dutch Restaurant- delicious Lasagne`s and Pizza`s!!On the other side of the street exactly at the corner is located Daniel `s Corner-very nice pub with very good drinks!You can buy a t-shirt there:)
Going down the street from Daniel`s Corner you will find a bus stop-no 102 and 104 goes to Palma;but if I can recommend to you, better take a bus no 102-is faster(going motorway)and it takes 35 -40 minutes. Other bus no 104 is going for all surrounding towns and get to the Capital takes about 90 minutes.
The best for you is go out on the bus station and turn on the left-you will have very nice park on your left side and it is only 5 minutes through the park and you are in the center of Palma:)
On the other side of street there is a monument to man on a horse-going up alley , turn on the left the second alley and continue your way straight up you will get to the Cathedral of Palma.It is only 10-15 minutes from the monument.This is really worth seeing!!
You can take a bus-sightseeing-you will much more:)
